Michelle for a Picnic

It’s time to share the sweet new releases at Milk N Coffee!

Tiffany and Birthday Cake

Michelle the Little Lady

Michelle the Maid

And today I used Michelle the Little Lady. Please also check out the lovely creations from our Design Team.

Something very new today: I used SVG Cuts file to cut out the basket with my Silhouette electronic cutter, the file is part of the “Picnic in the park” collection.

I also used some sweet pewter flower brads I received from my sweet friend, Helen — thank you!

Have a wonderful weekend, hugs, Rita

  1. Absolutely stunning, what a fabulous basket and gorgeous image, thanks for joining us at Crafty Sentiments and Divas By Design this week. Jac x

  2. Wow Rita, may I join you on your picnic please …. We could take this basket to Ascot, or Wimbledon and we’d be sure to be directed to the most privileged areas.

This picnic basket is incredibly beautiful and so summery. Michelle the Little Lady is so sweet and, at the risk of sounding like a ‘stuck record’ your colouring has really brought her to life. Her hair and skin are glowing, leading me to believe that she’s got a very healthy picnic in her basket.

I love all the pink and white flowers and how perfect are the floral brads that enhance the flowers in your lovely paper. Actually, once the picnic is over this would be a most lovely ‘treasure box’ ….possibly on Bell’s shelf or indeed your own craft room.

    Love Ingrid xxx ♥ ♥ ♥

    • Thank you so very much, sweet Ingrid for your heartfelt comment! Yes, I’m ready to bring the little picnic basket to Ascot or Wimbledon. I’m usually not a flower girl but this basket needed to be decorated and so happy that you like it so much and you’re so right, Bell already asked me if she could use it with her Monster High dolls 🙂 XOXO

  3. What a gorgeous creation your picnic basket is. Lovely, lovely embellishments and such a sweet image too. Thank you for joining us at OSAAT. Jennie x

  4. Beautiful coloring! I got a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas but have not explored the world of SVG yet. After seeing this adorable basket I see SVG files in my future 😉 Thank you for participating with us at “Through the Craft Room Door”, Hope to see you again soon. Melanie (DT)

    • Thank you so much, Melanie! You’ll need the Designer Edition for your Silhouette software to use SVG files. When you do, the trick is zooming far out to see your image and then also selecting the cut lines. Once all cut out, you’ll see how wonderfully easy it is to assemble. Hope to see your creations too! Xxx

  5. Absolutely stunning Rita, I love this SVG files you used and the added flowers are gorgeous. Stunning coloring work on the image! So happy to see you playing at Crafty Sentiments this week:) Hugs!

  6. Oh how I adore picnic baskets and yours is breathtaking! I LOVE the paper, the sweet detailing, and of course the stunning image. Absolutely beautiful in every single facet. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us at 7 Kids College Fund!

    Hugs and blessings,
