Hello and welcome to my blog!photo3

What started all this?

I have loved coloring and everything crafty as long as I can remember, used to color for hours with my grandma… And for years now, I’ve been a graphic designer. In 2012, I got introduced to Operation Write Home (OWH) cards by my best friend who, at the time, was deployed overseas. So I started creating cards. Shortly afterwards, another sweet friend of mine introduced me to the fantastic Copic markers and on August 9th, 2013, I bought my very first set of Copic markers and have been coloring ever since!

The amazing announcement in February 2014 made my wildest dreams come true: became part of the first ever Elizabeth Craft Designs Design Team! So many wonderful people and products and colors to work with! Just extremely thankful for the kindness and generosity of the team at Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The very first artist I ever noticed and have been admiring ever since is Alyce from Kit and Clowder and guess what? Yes, she invited me to her very first Design Team! The Kit and Clowder Online Coloring Community is simply one of the most creative, talented, fun and extremely supportive group I’ve ever been involved. Any time you’d like to take coloring classes, please remember that my friend Alyce offers the most incredible classes, tutorials, challenges and everything to help you achieve improvement in your coloring technique at Kit and Clowder Online Coloring Community.

Please remember that I am always very happy to create a custom design with custom colors too for your special occasions — those special and unique gifts are so meaningful and sweet to me.

  1. I loved your cards using the clear acetate, and I was wondering what thickness of the acetate you are using. Thanks so much.

    • Joan, I just checked it is 0.003 thickness and I think the next size up would be even better. Anything thicker than 0.005 or 0.007 is just too much and won’t cut easily. I hope this helps 😉 xxx

      • Thanks so much for taking the time to chek that for me, I think I can get it from Amazon,20 sheets for $11.00. Now I can get started on having some fun, and see what I can come up with. I know it won’t be as pretty as yours, but I will give it a try.

      • So happy to help, Joan. Just looked up, amazon has Duralar which is archival and non-tearing. It’s sold by Grafix, best quality I found so far. I would love to hear how your project is coming along. Hugs, Rita
