Margarita Time!

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s been almost 3 months since I last posted and honestly, I really have missed the magic of crafting with its wonderful colors, glitter, shapes and endless possibilities.

My sweet friend, Helen asked me to be her partner desiger for Karen Burniston’s April challenge. Oh, what an honor! Thank you, Helen!

Now the fun part started earlier this year when I was able to pick my choice of Karen’s fantastic designs by Elizabeth Craft Designs and I chose the new Accordion Rectangle die set.

As you might already know, my absolute favorite paper is by Authentique Paper and for this project I chose Classique Beauty.

I colored CC Designs Margarita Time girl with Copic markers adding just a little of glitter overlay to her jewelry.

And speaking of my coloring, I cannot thank Alyce, my friend and teacher enough — wonderful classes, coloring community, support, feedback and just awesome friendships along the journey! As always, die cutting with Karen Burniston’s die set was so easy and so enjoyable. I really love the added little elements of ‘hello’ and the little heart — they fit perfectly with my idea of this fun lady sipping her margarita. As always, all other embelishments are by the lovely Live and Love Crafts.
